For Parents
At Chulmleigh Primary School we want our pupils to enjoy their learning in a caring, well-structured, safe and happy environment. Children are well cared for, nurtured and entertained throughout their education at our school.
We know how important it is to keep you informed about what your child is doing at school. Our newsletter is distributed to all parents twice a month, and we’re always happy to speak to you if you have any questions about our day-to-day activities.
Our school day starts at 8:50am (9am register) and finishes at 3:30pm. There is a breakfast club and after-school club.
Parents are essential to the success of any school, and we are very proud of the support we receive from our school community. Parental engagement and participation make a real difference to a child’s education.
Our Home-School Agreement governs the mutual expectations between the school and the parents, and our Parents’ Forum gives parents an opportunity to meet staff and other parents, discuss issues and get involved with the school.
We know how important good communication is to parents. If you have any questions about any communication you receive from the school, please let us know, and we will be happy to help.
