Hello and welcome to the Chulmleigh Primary School Parent & Teacher Association!  We support and raise money for the school to provide activities and resources to enrich the curriculum across all year groups. From the Nursery to Year 6.  

We have a full and fun programme of annual events including Christmas and summer fayres, discos, raffles, cake sales, pre-loved sales, and all manner of fun activities where the whole school can come together.

Over the years we have been able to find some fantastic resources, experiences, and activities for the children. Some examples include new iPads and charging station, a visit from the circus, money towards trips and residentials, SEN equipment, resources for OPAL, science equipment and much more!  

We are also very proud to offer social opportunities for the children by providing different clubs, such as Movies & Munchies and termly Discos. 

We also donate money to each class every year, for the teachers to buy items they think will benefit their teaching: resources that may not be available through other school funding lines, but that are essential to bringing learning to life and making the lessons exciting and interactive.

Your PTA group is a brilliant way to bring together parents, teachers and the local community, to make friends and to have a positive impact on the delivery of education for your children and your school.

Our PTA is led by the Committee, but you don’t have to be on the Committee to get involved.  We always welcome new parents to come along, share ideas and volunteer to help out. Everyone can get involved even if they only have a small amount of time available.  We are all parents or teachers so totally understand the commitments of work and family, there’s no pressure to do more than you want/can, we’re just really happy to get help from as many people as possible.
