Permanent Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

At Chulmleigh Primary School

 37 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum

Grade C (£12.85 to £13.26 depending on experience)

Required from January 2025

Chulmleigh Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and friendly person to join our committed and hard-working Administration Team. The successful candidate will be required to work at Chulmleigh Primary School.

This is a challenging position which requires energy, an ability to prioritise and personal resilience.  You will need to be able to balance a busy schedule of routine tasks with being the welcoming ‘face of the school’, as well as supporting staff with day-to-day issues.  You will be working within the supportive Academy Trust administrative team where a collaborative approach provides the capacity to meet the needs of all the schools.

The successful candidate will be confident and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a sound administrative background. Experience of working in a school environment will be advantageous but ability and aptitude are more important. Training will be available

The working pattern for this interesting and varied post will be Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm (which allows for a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and leaving at 4.00pm on Friday).
